Advancing a low-carbon future
The brief
A major UK landowner and property business was evolving its net zero strategy and wanted to communication both the progress already made as well as its future ambitions. Alongside a report that would share high-level details of its ambitions and sector-specific transition pathways, it wanted a video that would raise public awareness of their work.
The process
Working closely with the client through several rounds of review, I developed a report that detailed the decarbonisation strategy and the actions the business had already taken. Using this as a basis, I then developed the script for a concise and engaging video that shared the key points of its strategic approach.
Throughout the project, I reviewed all copy for potential greenwashing language, ensuring each statement was grounded in fact as well as ambition.
The outcome
The result was an inspiring yet measured report that detailed the client’s decarbonisation roadmap, Beginning with the UK’s climate science and policy context, the report detailed each strategic priority using a consistent structure to improve readability and navigation.
The supporting video took that content and translated it into a concise, engaging format, highlighting key targets and achievements while reinforcing the organisation’s long-term direction.
